Is Cal foreal or not????
Coming off of last years ( 1-11) very disappointing year Cal has come out on fire at ( 4-2 ). But what is the real Cal team? The team that crushed Sacramento State 55-14 or the team that gave up a NCAA record for passing yards in one game against Colorado and that lost embarrassingly at home 31-7 against Washington. So far this year the whole Cal team as a whole has looked much improved compared to last season. Having already beat their mark for wins from last season it looks like Cal is moving into the right direction. BUT their defense has looked drastic in almost every game. Cal`s defense is allowing 38.8 points a game and over 500 yards!!! that is easily among the bottom of the NCAA in statistics. Besides their defense Cal`s offense has been one of the best in the nation by far if you don't look at this weekends loss to Washington. Jared Goff has lead this team to 4 wins by winning 3 shootouts. Jared has had to put up at least 40 to win almost every game I think that's asking a little to much to ask from the true sophomore qb from Marin Catholic. With most offenses only scoring around 20-30 points each game asking Cal to score 40-60 just to win is ridiculous. So for Cal to even be thinking about a rose bowl birth their defense will need to step up in a big way for the rest of the season especially with Oregon and UCLA coming up very soon. And Cal cant allow anymore last second game winning hail mary td throws to end a game like the one against Arizona earlier this year. I think my question will be answered quickly as the Bears prepare to take on UCLA this weekend in what it looks to be as a must win for both sides.

This is a great post, I just have one question for you. Where was Cal this past weekend I felt like their heads weren't in the game! That game against Arizona with the hail mary Cal lost on that game and then Cal just lost this weekend because their heads weren't in the game. Two lost's in a row this is not good! Next up is UCLA and that should be a great game!! I really enjoy your blog because I am a huge sports fan!! keep up the good work! I look forward to reading your blogs! Good job!!
